Description
The Trac-Rite® 944WL is ideal for the same residential, self-storage, and light-duty commercial uses as the Model 944. In addition, Trac-Rite's windlock system provides maximum wind resistance for this model. As wind blows against the 944WL, the curtain's windlocks engage with the door guide for a strong interlocking grip. This grip keeps the curtain securely in the guide. Continuous curtain of solid steel is durable, attractive, and available in a variety of colors. The 944WL is available in custom sizes from 8'W x 3'H to 11'W x 10'4"H in 1" increments. Designed for the do-it-yourselfer, 944WL doors install in a fraction of the time it takes to install a sectional door.

Seal-Rite pliable bulb and blade astragal integrated into galvalume bottom bar with stiffening angle. Powder coated handle secured to bottom assembly with stainless steel bolts. |

12-gauge, cold-formed, zinc-coated steel. Grease-packed ball bearings are factory installed in the bracket. |

16-gauge, zinc-coated, 2-3/4" deep. Featuring polypropylene guide runners to assure smooth operation and prevent steel-on-steel contact. Guide windlock bar manufactured from 12-gauge, zinc-coated steel. |
| SpaceGuard Exterior Latch |
Cast zinc alloy with black nickel finish. Latch slide has magnetic properties for use with security system switches. Designed to accommodate two padlocks up to 7/16" shank. Accommodates Trac-Rite's optional SpaceGuard Cylinder Lock, which features an easy over-lock system. The cylinder lock does not penetrate the door. |

Wind Load Ratings
All Trac-Rite door models, both standard and windlock, are put through rigorous wind testing. The testing is witnessed and certified by an independent test lab. Trac-Rite doors are approved for installation in buildings affected by Florida Building Commission regulations concerning wind testing and manufacturing certifications.

Installation
After reviewing the complete installation instructions, you will find that Trac-Rite 944WL doors are easy to install!
Installation Outline
- Assemble brackets to door nest.
- Hoist door in place and attach brackets.
- Attach guides, tension the door, cut bands, and install door stops.
- Adjust and fasten guides. Install the handle and rope.
